CHICAGO ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS
ART INSTITUTE
The Art Institute has an extensive collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art.  It is the second largest art museum in the United States. Admission is free from 5-9
CHICAGO PRIDE FEST
The Chicago Pride Fest is from 3-10 pm at Halsted St and Waveland Ave.  There will be music, costumes, and female impersonators at the festival celebrating gay pride.
GRANT PARK
Grant Park, located on Chicago’s lakefront, is home to many Chicago icons.  Millennium Park, the Art Institute, the Taste of Chicago, and the Buckingham Fountain are all within Grant Park.  It is a very lively area with lots to do.
GRANT PARK MUSIC FESTIVAL
This free music festival begins at 6:30 pm on the lawn of Millennium Park’s Pritzker Pavilion (205 E Randolph St).  It is a festival of classical music and you can bring your dinner and blanket and enjoy the scenery.  Admission is free.




TASTE OF CHICAGO
The Taste of Chicago is an event where many of Chicago’s best restaurants gather and sell small portions of their best and most unique dishes.  Admission is free, but you pay for what you eat.
